How do you know if your BMW needs servicing?

Your BMW is intelligent enough to know when it needs servicing. How would you know if it does? It will tell you so itself.

Just access the service indicators on your dashboard. Go to your Idrive menu in the service info section. Click on ‘Vehicle Status,’ then ‘Service Required.’ You will be able to read your brake fluid, engine oil, and vehicle check indicators. Then, decide which needs repair.

If your BMW doesn’t utilise IDrive, check if it needs servicing by toggling with the instrument cluster behind the steering wheel. Hold down the button to the left of it until the menu changes. At this point, scroll through the options to see which vehicle component needs attention. Bring your car to us if you notice anything amiss.

Option 1 – Engine Oil Service

Engines, like every other part of your vehicle, are subject to wear and tear. We use only BMW-approved filters when servicing your engine. Our skilled mechanics will check the intake silencer and parking brake. They will also replace the air cleaner.

Does your BMW have worn brake pads? They decrease brake efficiency and are dangerous. Our mechanics will change them, and their sensors. They will clean the brake wells and ascertain the thickness of discs.

Option 4 – Brake Fluid Service

It’s necessary to change brake fluid because contamination will result in poor performance. We use only BMW-approved fluids.

Option 5 – Microfilter Service

Our professional mechanics will check on your BMW’s microfilter and replace it if necessary.

Option 6 – Spark Plug Service

Spark plugs guarantee a smooth engine and ignition. Replacing them will improve your engine’s performance. Alan Mance Prestige will replace your worn-out spark plugs.

Option 7 – Tyre Replacement

Whether you’re cruising, cornering, or accelerating your vehicle, you need good quality tires. They ensure safety and comfort while you drive. We use only BMW-Approved tires.

Option 8 – Wiper Blades Replacement

You will need a functional set of wiper blades to ensure visibility during wet weather. Alan Mance Prestige replaces your worn-out wiper blades.
